  • A Storks Journey

    A Storks Journey

In the flight levels you fly with friends through tricky parkour.

As an experience for the animated film of the same name, an extensive app was created for the mobile platforms. In ‘A Storks Journey’ the player takes part in the journey of the little sparrow Richard, who is going on his great adventure, the travel from Europe to Africa.

Kiki is made to dance to groovy beats.

In a total of 16 levels, you make your way through varied levels with Richard, his friends Olga, Kiki and the pigeons. Thereby you contest challenges in 4 different game principles, which may require different things.

In the fish games you have to catch the right food for the birds.
In the pigeon game you have to get the right messages from the pigeons.

In the levels you can also find items with which the player can decorate his avatar. Synchronized with high score tables for each level and a total high score you can compete with players from all over the world.

There are numerous items for customization in the Avatar Editor.

As a share feature, you can share images of an avatar with your friends. You can also watch teaser clips from the film in your own pigeon cinema.

The game is available free of charge for IOS and Android.

This App is a children’s photo app with which they should discover the world. The children can take pictures of a number of terms in different categories and describe them.

As soon as they have 15 pictures together, the plan for the final app is to create the possibility that parents can turn the children’s pictures into a photo book.

  • Orchard

    Orchard

The digital adaptation of the classic board game of the same name for children by HABA was implemented in 2016. In the game the children have to harvest trees and play them in tricky mini-games against the raven Theo. This game is suitable for children from 4 years.

Based on the color that the wheel shows, the child should find the right fruit.

Theo the raven has different sequences in which he tries to steal the fruit from the child. He throws paint at the screen, uses a fishing rod to fish the basket or uses his toy helicopter.

Theo tries by all means to steal the fruit.

The game environment with trees, flowers and also smaller animals such as bees and moles is generated with slight random values so that the game environment never looks the same.

As a reward for a successful game, the child receives one to three seeds, which they can then plant on the game’s start screen.

The seeds can be used to plant the home screen.

The app is available on Android and IOS through the client Fox & Sheep:
    AppStore | Google Play Store

An individualized start screen, which was decorated with the seeds obtained.
  • Postbox API (Bachelor Thesis)

    Postbox API (Bachelor Thesis)

As part of my bachelor thesis, I dealt with the development of a cross-platform interface and made research of the potential usage.

The aim of the platform was to write software that enables communication between different applications and provides their data in a standardized form.

The API has a communication interface for JSON and XML and a wide catalog of communication commands.

Registered apps can be managed and linked to one another via an admin area. What is special is that inquiries can also be made to other developers on the platform.

For a detailed look into the bachelor thesis please follow the link.

The API is functional and offers a DLL file for integration in an application and a Unity package which makes the API available in the game engine.

I can provide access to the API on request.

  • The lost Kingdom

    The lost Kingdom

This game was our first piece in working with games created between 2012 and 2015. The aim was to create a great fantasy adventure in a classic setting.

You slip into the role of a farm boy named Eric, who grows up on the island of Strehl and wants to be part of the city watch. There is a lot to do on the island. Among other things, plants and food can be processed into useful potions and dishes on campfires. In addition, the citizens of the island have tasks for you that range from simple favors to dramatic stories.

The playing time is about one hour. We stopped working on the game at the end of 2015 in order to devote ourselves to a new project.

We presented our game with our own booth at the GamesCom and the long night of videogames in Leipzig. This was made possible by René Meyer a well known Journalist and Retro-Game collector.

Below is a playlist with videos showing the game.
